Treatments For TMJ and Sleep Apnea

Symptoms such as grinding of teeth, clicking, popping, pain of the joints, headaches, shoulder and neck problems can all be indicative of Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction or TMJ. Normally, signs of TMJ are present with little or no discomfort, “just a click or pop of the jaw”, or “tiredness” of the jaw. The earlier these symptoms are recognized, the easier it is to correct the problem before it gets to an advanced stage and becomes more difficult to adequately treat. Many of these symptoms can be cured, or reduced to a large degree, through a specialized treatment protocol. Treatment of TMJ has become a very rewarding part of our practice because patients experience such a profound increase in their quality of life.
